Frequently Asked Questions

Tiliniam Payment System

  • How do companies get paid for work on Tiliniam?
  • Payment is between the client and the company in the Tiliniam Network. The client releases payments as the company/supplier delivers on the project. Usually payments by the client are released only after the supplier requests a payment. The client can release all payments directly through the Tiliniam platform. This saves the client the trouble of finding a way to send or transfer payment to a supplier.
  • Where are my project escrow funds held?
  • Once a client funds a project, those funds are held in escrow at Union Bank, one of the biggest banks in the U.S. Using the Tiliniam dashboard, a client can release all are part of the those funds at any time.
  • What does funding a project mean?
  • Companies or suppliers may ask a client to fund a project upfront, before the project is started. The client can easily transfer the project funds into the Tiliniam escrow system. Then, as the project is delivered, the client can release agreed-upon milestone payments. These payments come from the funds held in the escrow account.
  • Is it a requirement to fund an escrow account for a project?
  • No. Funding is between the client and supplier. Funding the project upfront does make it easier to release milestone payments.
  • How much does Tiliniam charge for facilitating projects?
  • Tiliniam's standard fee for facilitating all aspects of a project is 8%. This fee is automatically deducted from payments to companies on the Tiliniam platform.
  • Is there a subscription fee for Clients?
  • No. There is no fee. Creating a client account also is free. There is no limit to the number of projects a client can create and submit through the Tiliniam Network.
  • How does Tilinaim Network guarantee payment transfers?
  • All escrow payments from clients are deposited to our banking partner, Union Bank. The transfer of an escrow or release of an escrow payment is in the control of the project owner (client).
  • Are there wire transfer fees with the Tiliniam Network?
  • Payments to suppliers for project deliverables can be complicated, especially if the suppliers are based outside of your country. One of the significant advantages of the Tiliniam Network is that we simplify this process for you and all transfers/payments can be done directly from your Tiliniam dashboard. However, in any wire transfer there are banking fees. Tiliniam's scale and management systems can help reduce some of these bank fees. Wire transfer costs are debited from the provider's payment.

Tiliniam Style

  • What is Tiliniam Style?
  • Some clients may want to keep their project confidential until a supplier/partner is identified. Tiliniam will convert your project into a shortened form that contains enough information for companies to bid on your business. Tiliniam style is also advantageous for getting more bids since there is less work and time for the supplier to do when preparing a bid response.
  • Is there a charge for Tiliniam Style?
  • Yes. For more information on Tiliniam Style, click here.
  • Do I need to always convert my project to Tiliniam Style?
  • No, that decision is up to the client. If you want to share a full screenplay on the Tiliniam Network, for example, you are certainly free to do so. If you want to keep a project confidential, we recommend using Tiliniam Style.

Additional policies and procedures

    b) If the refund amount is approved by the company and there are insufficient funds in the project escrow to cover the refund amount, Tiliniam will refund all funds in escrow back to the client.

    c) If the refund is approved by the company and there are no project escrow funds, then the client must make arrangements with the company directly to transfer the funds.

  • Tiliniam Network Dispute Policy
  • The Tiliniam Network is designed to minimize the chance of a dispute. In fact, there are very few disputes on Tiliniam. Our unique milestone/escrow work area is structured to eliminate the need to escrow all the project funds. Instead, the client can simply apply escrow funds for each particular project milestone. Additionally each milestone is clearly defined and accepted by each party before any milestone payments are transferred into escrow. This has the benefit of taking a project one step at a time in terms of making a payment and accepting a deliverable.

In the event that a dispute does arise please send the details to support@Tiliniam.com. Tiliniam will review and respond within 48 hours.
